Crazy Monsters is an RPG that's openly inspired by Pokémon. It combines the combat system from Gameboy classics with the faster and more direct development of smartphone games – and does it all with the charm of the original Pokémon games.

Crazy Monsters has lots of old friends, from Charmander and Squirtle to Gyarados and even Eeve and Hitmonchan. You can capture all 150 original Pokémon. To catch them, you have to do the usual: fight against them in turn-based combats, weaken them, and throw a pokeball at them.

The main difference between Crazy Monsters and the original games is that you can't move your character freely around the settings. Instead, you move to different points on the map for a much quicker development. At each point you can see what type of Pokémon are there for capture, which makes everything much more convenient.

Crazy Monsters might not offer a particularly groundbreaking experience, but still presents a solid and entertaining video game. A proper delight for Pokémon fans.
